Three dimensional computed tomography (3D CT) scan (anterior oblique view) of the right side of the head of a healthy 35 year-old man. This imaging technique gives a 3D view of the whole skull and cervical spine (neck bones). This 3D computer model is made of several thousand 2D 'slices' obtained using traditional CT scanning, then collated to produce a 3D image.
