The expenditures for the House of Industry at Deer Island have been in gross $45, The amount received from all sources has been - - 2, Leaving as the net expenditure for maintaining that Institution $43, It is proper to remark, that of this amount some $3000 have• been expended in removing from South Boston and reconstructingat Deer Island the building intended for the reception o
