The species is colourless and tapers toward both ends. It is more slender than the previous species and yet the number of segments is greater, it is con- stantly found to be 25. The three pairs of tentacular cirri are different in shape and size, whereas the cirri l the body segments are square and easily recognizable from the body cirri of T.'lanceolata by the broad attachment, at each side of which there is a little rounded indentition. The setae are situated just in front.
