This instrument is very conveniently gotten up, being mounted in a casecarrying a white-glass plate to reflect the light to better advantage. It issimple, inexpensive, and is accurate within 2 per cent. The author wouldrecommend this instrument to the general worker above all others, with thepossible exception of the Dare, whose advantages have been mentioned. Hemoglobinometer of Oliver.
