N.). \. Showing variation in shape of head and proportion of e3-e. of vent, midway between pectoral and vent, or nearer latter. Pectoral 24- to 3+ times in its distance from end of snout. Olive-brown to dark green above, yellow or silvery on the sides; lower parts white. Vertebras 111-118 (usually 113-117). Total length over 1 metre.
