The hieroglyphic inscriptions on this relief from a tomb at Saqqara tell what the figures are doing. Along the top row the signs above the heads say "singing." At right the sign says the figure is playing the harp. On the bottom row, the two women at right are also "singing," and the the five girls at left are "dancing.
