Marines from Marine Air Control Squadron (MACS) 4 accept a plaque in recognition of their selection for the Edward S. Fris Award, awarded to the C2 Unit of the Year, presented by Maj. Gen. Eric Austin, the commanding general of 1st Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), during the Marine Corps Aviation Association (MCAA) awards luncheon at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Futenma, April 5, 2023. The MCAA awards are presented annually to individuals and units that represent the best of the best in Marine Corps aviation, rewarding operational readiness and technical ingenuity throughout the service.
