Looking W at Gors Fawr stone circle in 'the great marsh' to the S of Mynydd Preseli. Sixteen surviving local glacial erratic boulders form a (73ft) diameter circle with the small stones graded in height up to around 1m at the SW-WSW. Two tall stones stand 134m NNE of the circle and apart on an ENE-WSW axis indicating the midsummer sunrise in the NE.
