Itis, instead, a perfect example of the knitting together ofthe proper house to its site, both being welded, as it were,into one fiber of harmonious beauty. One approaches Shore Rocks from its land sidethrough the entrance-gates in the low stone wall, an archedlych gate being the form of the entrance to the servicepath, an approach screened with shrubbery. The approachto the water-front of the house is most interesting inasmuch.
