There /is - nothing like' it in color, which is a deep reddish salmon upon opening-, and gradually changes to a soft shrimp pink when fully finished. The flowers are of the .largest sifce, and take on great depth. This vari- ety has no touch of lavender in its'- color, but is a decided and new shade that is very beautiful. Black Hawk. The largest and most beautiful dark crimson scarlet yet introduced; looks like crimson vel- vet; the very shade so much desired in chrysanthemums; flowers of immense size on fine stiff stems. Boundless Snow. An excellent variety ; large, white flushed pink, grad- ually becoming pure white. The plant is of strong vigorous growth, throwing up stout stiff stems to support its mas- sive .flowers. Buff Globe. This enormous globe shaped flower is identical with its parent, Good Gracious, in everything save color, which is a pale chrome yellow, shading to buff. A fine variety; try it. Creole. Deep claret, reverse garnet; large flower with broad petals. Cullingfordii. One of the brightest and most distinct of all the dark colored kinds ; brilliant crimson, shaded scarlet; flowers of a rich velvety texture. Col. D. Appleton. A very large, deep golden yellow Japanse incurving; flower of fine finish and form. Excellent stem, with foliage up to the flower, and an easy grower. Terminal bud only.
