GROTON, Conn. (Jun. 19, 2018) Chief Electronics Technician (Submarine – Navigation) Michael Covington, assigned to the Los Angeles class, fast-attack submarine, USS Hartford (SSN 768), presents a ship’s coin to 17-year-old, Troy Perna, during a tour arranged by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. In addition to touring USS Hartford, Perna spent the day with professional golfer, Jordan Spieth during the Travelers Championship. The Make-A-Wish Foundation arranges experiences, or "wishes", for children with life-threatening medical conditions from ages of three and 17.
