The AMTRAK Coast Starlight train heads south through the Coyote Valley area of San Jose, California passing by the Calpine Metcalf power plant. The Union Pacific Rail Road tracks pass parallel to the historic "El Camino Real" which runs most of California, and connected the Spanish Missions. The nearest missions to this location is Santa Clara to the North, and San Juan Bautista to the south.
