The Trafford Centre is one of the largest shopping centres in the UK and is situated on the edge of Trafford Park, Greater Manchester. Built by The Peel Group and opened in 1998, The Trafford Centre is now owned Capital Shopping Centres follwing a £ billion sale in 2011. The Trafford Centre is due to be renamed as 'Intu Trafford Centre' mid-February 2013 by its parent company CSC at a cost of £7 million.
