Exposed concrete was Sonja Hechler's material of choice. The historic half-timbered house from 1572 was complemented by an attractive new building. Architect Osman Askari used glass, steel and concrete to create an open architecture that houses the summer terrace, conference rooms and five new guest rooms. After private homes, a school and a church conversion, the Krone Inn is Osman Askari's first hotel project in Weil am Rhein, Germany
