A Bronze Age sword, excavation at Leoprechting in Lower Bavaria, circa 1100 Bronze with a heavy green patina. Slender blade with a lenticular cross-section and remnants of decorative lines along the edges. Riveted grip piece (rivets replaced?) with a disk shaped pommel and remnants of incised decoration. Surfaces inexpertly cleaned, the original heavy patina has been crudely removed in places. Two inventory labels pasted on an attached collection label indicating the provenance.
