The state's railways, SJ YOA1 31, under the building on the cart and machine factory in Falun. SJ YOA1 31 was an electric test rail bus built by ASEA and ASJ in 1948. The rail bus was developed to test whether powered rail buses could replace the diesel on the electrified stretches. The attempt struck out well and SJ put in the rail bus in regular traffic and decisions were made to convert 30st ordered diesel rail buses to electric rail buses.
