, Czestochowa, Silesia, Poland - Catholic pilgrims with umbrellas on the day of Assumption of Mary during a mass in front of the Paulist monastery of Jasna Gora (English: Luminous Mount) in Czestochowa. Jasna Gora is a Catholic place of pilgrimage and the largest Marian shrine in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the most important Polish national shrine. In the Paulist monastery one can see the famous Black Madonna of Czestochowa. Each year, especially in summer, millions of Polish pilgrims visit the city.
