The trade do not expect any ma-terial change in price; it is said the newlist will be easier to figure. Christmas business on washing ma-chines and clothes wringers has beengood. The outlook for 1919 is consid-ered excellent, manufacturers hopingthat the shortage of supplies so manifestthe past year or so will show bettermentand that they will be able to enlargetheir selling program. The discount onwashing machines of 30 and 10 per cent,and on clothes wringers of 30 and 5per cent, is unchanged. White Lead Weak; Putty, Glass Quiet London. Ont. WHITE LEAD, PUTTY, GLASS.—The undertone to the market on whitelead is somewhat weak in view of thedeclines in pig lead and linseed oil. Thebigger factor is pig lead and there areindications that even lower levels
