Mr. Sullivan is a promi-nent inember of the Catholic church. In politicalmatters he is a firm believer in Democratic prin-ciples, but has never desired for himself any politi-cal prominence. His splendid business abilities areapparent in the wise and careful way in which hemanages his vast holdings, comprising nearly nine-teen hundred acres in Skagit county, one thousand.
