Sant Bartomeu Sesgorgues, Tavertet. XII century.


The group that formed the Church of St. Bartomeu Sesgorgues and cemetery are isolated on a plan under some cliffs. Chapel is a single nave and side chapels with a semicircular apse much narrower than the width of the ship. The ship is covered with a barrel vault in the section near the head and continues westward pointed vault. The apse is smooth and has a unique double splay opening. The access is on the west side with a portal arch with the particularity that consists of a single stone, has a rectangular window above and is topped by a bell tower converted into tower. The two chapels form a kind of transept and the southern side are also the sacristy.
