A fisheye view of the 100ft Havasu Falls and its beautiful deep blue pool beneath, surrounded by thick, green vegetation.

Tourism provides the main economic base providing jobs to the members of the Havasu tribe living on the Havasupai Indian Reservation in Arizona. With their tribal land home to three magnificent aqua-colored waterfalls, Navajo, Havasu and Mooney, there is no need for concern that tourism will drop off anytime soon. Navajo Falls is a gem that resulted from the flash flood that tore through Havasu Canyon in August of 2008. The 100ft Havasu Falls, like Mooney Falls, has a beautiful deep blue pool beneath, surrounded by thick, green vegetation. Named after a Supai Chief, Navajo Falls, or Hagjahkeevma as it is written in the Havasupai language, is the smallest of the three falls, tumbling 75 feet into a refreshing pool enjoyed by many for swimming. The refreshing water stays at a constant 70 degree temperature year round.
