President Lang's Address. _ It has been a pleasure to serve the association and therefore I wish to ex- pi-ess my appreciation for the honor bestowed upon me at the Fort Worth convention, where you made me your president. Before you get through or leave here I hope you will be able to say "He has done his ; It has been a pleasure, rather than a duty, to serve the trade. The San Antonio florists have done their work well and thoroughly, the evidence is here to show. In company with Mr. Davis and Mr. Tackett I visited San Antonio last fall and found that they were on the job and arranging everything to make this the largest convention to date. I believe you will agree with me, that our exhibitors have increased by many and have enlarged their spaces. I hope that we are educating the people to use more flowers as the orders here increased wonderfully the last year. I hope the supply men have re- ceived their share and further that the Texas State Florists' Association is getting on a higher and better plane than has been the case in former, years.
