Wihan Phra Phuttha Saiyat or the Vihara of the Reclining Buddha in Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, located off the city island in southeastern Ayutthaya
Ayutthaya Historical Park covers the ruins of the old city of Ayutthaya, Thailand, which was founded by King Ramathibodi I in 1351, although evidence show that the area was already populated by the Khmers during the Mon Dvaravati period. The city was captured by the Burmese in 1569. Part of the park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991.
