Photo by Anandajoti (CC BY ). Wu Wenhua was a minor character from the classic Ming Dynasty novel 'Fengshen Yanyi'. A general and giant serving under the white ape sprite Yuan Hong at Mengjin, Wu Wenhua fought for King Zhou of Shang against King Wu of Zhou's army. He killed one of Huang Feihu's sons, Huang Tianlu, but was himself eventually killed in battle by the legendary sage Jiang Ziya.
