A Southern German or Bohemian goblet with cut glass designs,around 1700 Thick walled slightly tapered bowl of discoloured glass. Finely cut with two oval cartouches,with baroque flowers between them. One side shows a kneeling worshipper under the hand of God with the motto "Der Herr ist mein Schutz"(The Lord is my protector). The opposite side shows an armoured warrior in front of a fortress with the legend "wieder meine Feinde Trutz"(Battle against mine enemies).
