A flintlock carbine, Johann Georg Dinckl, Hall in Tyrol, circa 1760, Slightly swamped, octagonal barrel with seven-groove rifled bore in 15 mm calibre with dovetailed brass front sight and folding iron rear sight. At the breech tendril silver inlays, signature "IOH. GEORG. DINCKL. HALL. IN. TYROL." in silver and silver-filled mark "IGD". Smooth flintlock with frizzen on rollers and trigger (defective).
