The village of Frampton-On-Severn, played host to the World El-ver Eating Championships over the bank Holiday weekend. Contestants had to eat a plate full of susainable El-vers in the quickest time to be crowned champion. Gloucestershire is world famous for elvers or glass eel which are in demand in France and Japan.
