A delivery boy leans his bicycle against the wall of number 37 St Pauls Square, Birmingham, the workshop of William Millward Ltd, a plater and gilder. The terrace may originally have been built as town houses circa 1780. By the time this photograph was taken in the 1940s they were undoubtedly used for industrial purposes.
