The Brutus stone, Totnes, Devon, England, United Kingdom.

The Brutus stone, Totnes, Devon, England, United Kingdom. Medieval legend says that in 1170 BC a Trojan prince searching for a island disembarked at Totnes using the stone - as he stepped ashore onto the stone, he said; "Here I stand, and here I rest. The town shall be called Totnes". He became the first king of Britain making Totnes, and the Brutus Stone, the place of origin of the British People.
