Bandaged eye. Girl with a pad on an eye wound. The pad is bandaged in place and is intended to prevent infection. If the injury was a cut, the bandaging would provide the pressure that prevents blood flow disrupting the clotting process. This then minimises the loss of blood as even minor head wounds may bleed profusely.
