Elderly Elvis. Computer-generated image of the singer Elvis Presley as he might have looked at the age of 68. Elvis Presley, regarded by many as the 'king of rock and roll' died at the age of 42 in 1977. Scientists at the University of St Andrews in Scotland used specially developed facial software to create the image. The software takes into account changes to the hairline, hair colour and skin texture. The ageing software is sometimes used to assist in missing person enquiries.
