Not so tall as the last; berries black and somewhat seedy. A fine under- growth shrub. 15 cts. each, $1 per doz. — Dumosa. Very dwarf, with very showy flowers. Fruit black, very large but insipid. 15 cts. each, $1 per doz. Hibiscus Syriacus (Althaea). A popular shrub, bearing large white or pink flowers in August.
