The seed of Cattle Turnips is always drilled in rows, while the early-maturing and surface-rooted Table Turnip is generally sown broadcast. The Bloomsdale Swede, like other Ruta Bagas. is slower in growth than the rough-leaved Turnips, but produces roots more solid and more â less laxative and more fattening.
