A description of all packs not illustrated can be found under the head- ing "Apple ; Diagonal 2/2 pack, 4 layers, 88 apples BETTER FRUIT Apple Packing Chart â lOKxll'7XI8 inches inside measurement It will be noted that we have added to our apple packing chart this year illustrations of the 200 and 225 which are what are known as straight packs and the 125 diagonal pack. The 125 pack is now being much used for long apples like the Spitzenberg, Delicious and Ort- ley. The principal changes in the grading rules are in raising the color require- ments of some of the solid red varieties and in placing some of the other va- rieties under a new classification.
