The Spiraea Ulmaria L. ; queen of the meadows, Heine des Pris Fr. ; the Scabnsa arvensis; matronalis ; the Centauria J&cea, are sown in France along with the perennial grasses, and theirseeds may be had in the French seed shops, but they cannot be recommended in soils and climates whereany of the clovers or true grasses will thrive so as to form an abundant herbage. 5fi36.
