ROYAL AIR FORCE BOMBER COMMAND, 1942-1945. - Low-level oblique aerial photograph of wrecked rolling stock in the severely-damaged marshalling yards at Juvisy-sur-Orge, France. The yards were successfully attacked by Bomber Command on the nights of 18/19 April and 7/8 June 1944, in support of the Allied invasion of Normandy. In the foreground French workmen can be seen engaged on salvage and repair of the wreckage. ,
