Hisfirst engagement was as a memberof the orchestra of the old Baldwintheater, under the leadership ofCharles Schultz. Later he plavedin the orchestra of Louis Homeierat the Alcaza?r theater, then managedby George ^^allenrod. Subsequently he was a member of the or-chestra of Fischers theater. Air. Keogh is a charter member of theMusicians Lnion of San Francisco, and has served as secretary forseven years continuously. For twenty years past his wufe and himselfhave lived in their pleasant home
