Gaziantep, Turkey. The Zenobia Syrian Women’s Association hold a social event in Gaziantep to show their vital work in providing support to Syrian women refugees in Turkey and their family. The screening of the puppet and doll theatre illustrated their latest project aiming at raising awareness on the widespread issue of early marriages for Syrian girls. The Zenobia organisation aims at empowering Syrian women and improving their situation in all spheres of life in the host country, while also highlighting their fundamental role in building a sustainable peace in Syria
