For many years we have been experimenting and seeking to find a good, large, smooth, excellently flavored, solid, beautiful, extremely prolific yellow Onion, When we introduced our Prizetaker Onion, that giant among yellow Onions, that Onion which above all others attains the greatest size, eleven single Onions having been grown that weighed 1 bushel, we thought we had found just what we wanted; but this did not prove to be the case. Although the Prizetaker fills the bill in a large measure, yet it sometimes fails in different soils and different climes, but in our new Autumn King Onion we have an Onion that knows no failure, no matter where sown or where grown, whether in the cold North or hot South, whether in the wet East or the dry West; everywhere, where tested, it has proven itself superior to the elehients, and it stands above the yellow Onion as did King Saul of old among the Israelites, head and shoulders above them. 5alzer'8 Autumn King Onion is as beautiful as a picture, large, fine, roundish flat in shape, and enor» mously, yes, wondrously, productive. The Onion is large, just the size for general market, and just the size produce the past year 1,108 bushels per acre easily by following our new method of <Jnion culture, and 3,507 bushels on 3 acres! For fall it is superlative; indeed, it is one of the very best fall Onions we know of, andnhe fact that you can produce 1,108 bushels per acre with ease, combined with its beauty and quality, places it at once in the front rank of yellow Onions. We are proud to be the introducers of this new sort, proud that it should have originated on Wisconsin soil, proud that it is so prodigally prolific, and that it combines in its golden whole more excellent qualities as to a fall, winter and spring Onion than any other
