PACIFIC OCEAN (July 13, 2017) Marine 1st Lt. Andrew Buck, assigned to 3rd Battalion 4th Marine, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division and embarked onboard USNS Sacagawea (T-AKE 2) instructs French Armed Forces New Caledonia service members during a live fire exercise at sea during Koa Moana 17, July 13. Koa Moana 17 is designed to improve theater security, and conduct law enforcement and infantry training in the Pacific region in order to enhance interoperability with partner nations.
