Roses are seen in fine quality and plenty of them to supply the call for this item. Carnations are improv- ing in quality and no surplus is seen. Calendulas, of which the market is well supplied, are not so popular as they were earlier in the season, and some effort is necessary to move them. Pine snapdragons are now available, and the limited stock is easily disposed of. Re- tailers' reports ot the past week are varying. Some have been favored with good business, while others report only fair conditions, but all are ex- pectant of an Easter business rmprec- edented, and are already preparing for it. NOTES.
