It is in season from September to January, and is the most salable kind during this period in market; this is owing to its smooth and handsome shape, good size and creamy orange skin. Marbleliead.—Another new variety of the Hubbard type, has a. very thick and hard shell, with remarkable good keeping quali- ties; is of a dry, sweet and delicious flavor.
