5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (July 29, 2017) Electronics Technician 3rd Class Scott Parsons searches for a number during a Morale, Welfare and Recreation-sponsored bingo contest aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50). Carter Hall, part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
