On Wednesday, May 10th, 2023 NYSNA (NY State Nurses Assoc. members) who work for NYC public hospitals and Mayoral agencies held a rally at Foley Square to sound the alarm on the crisis of understaffing and high turnover that threatens care for the vulnerable patients who depend on our city’s public health system. Nurses are calling for pay equity as a matter of healthcare and racial justice. NY City Comptroller Brad Lander speaks in support of Nurses demands.
