Employers are also required to pro-vide proper light, ventilation, and sanitary arrangements intheir cstalilishmcnts. The government regulates matters ofthis kind because those who are employed are often unable toprotect themselves against employers who, either from in-difference or because of their unwillingness to spend a littlemoney, require those who work for them to labor in unhealth-.
