Christ for Pilate; Two passions scenes to tintoretto. Christ stands for Pilatus. The people demanded the crucifixion of Christ and Pilate who admits the pressure of the crowd then washes his hands in innocence. Pilate is sitting at an increase and Christ stands right in front of him. He is held with ropes by two soldiers standing on either side of a staircase. With a fresh in Latin by Simon Sovius.
