UH-34 helicopters, flown by the 1st MAW Vietnam on September 7, 1965, are seen here during Operation PIRANHA. The helicopters, led by the 16 A-261 and 0-2 armed Frey escorts, transported the 2nd Battalion, th R Azay Regiment, to IZ Pine - an 8-mile line across the Cap Batangan-Anky peninsulas.
