The industrialist Maximilian Todesco, 1846. Maximilian Todesco (1813-1890) was the son of the textile manufacturer Hermann Todesco (1792-1844). The name "Todesco" was taken from his father Aaron Hirschl, who is based on his numerous traveling to Italy was always referred to as "tedesco" (German).
