Mycenaean anthropomorphic figure; Mycenae Fresco Room Complex; Room 32; 1250-1180 BC. Ref LH IIIB2. Mycenae archaeological site Museum; Greece. It is not known what Mycenaean anthropomorphic figures depict, amd it can be assumed that they may represent religious characters like Gods or Priests. They could equally represent Mycenaean elites but sadly we will never know if they are acurate depictions of any single individual. These Mycenae anthropomorphic figures show a development towards realistic human represntations.
