Mr. Elkins has al-ways been active in theaffairs of the Central Elec-tric Accounting Confer-ence and his election aspresident of the confer-ence was in recognition ofthe service which he per-formed in the interest ofthe conference in his for-mer office of secretary andtreasurer of the confer-ence.
